Each pellet is loaded by hand via a generous, bolt-action breech and the comfortable bolt handle makes cocking and loading the rifle fast, secure and easy. Charging the S400 is equally effort-free thanks to its clip-on, self-sealing connector and like all Air Arms precharged pneumatics, the S400’s internal components are protected from dirt and grit by an in-built bronze air filter.
